For a computer game the robot sound, reminding the well-known r2d2 was necessary. To create such sound it turned out similar means (a compound of synthetic and natural soundings in processing).

Original drum sample recorded straight from an original vintage yamaha psr-36 digital synthetizer from 1988. Best quality you can find online. Also, some samples aren't half bad. Use creatively and add some fx's. No eq or fx. Just some denoising.

A nice & sunny recording session at the airport! positioned right at the flight path of departing planes, this served as a test recording for the tascam dr-40x. At some point during the session i decided to point the recorder straight up, instead of towards the planes themselves, creating a nice stereo "pass-by" effect.

Brownian noise sounding like a flying plane at 3×10^4 feet above the earth. . . I created that in audacity! final peak amplitude: 0. 75000 (linear) -2. 49877 db. I applied a bunch of filter curves to make this 90 second loop, normalized to 75% volume. I started with 120 seconds, then made it 90 seconds. Estimated start pitch: d2 (75. 000 hz). Because of the 1024 mb limit, i can't upload the 108-minute version (2 channels, 24-bit, 48000 hz costs 1. 74 gib). Sorry. The final sample rate is 48000 hz, 24-bit wav. I was just messing around in audacity, like i usually do all the time. I made a corrupt audio file, and i found this extremely weird sound. I got rid of all the white noise, which made it sound even weirder, then i slowed it down and got this sound. You can use this however you want. I'm not sure what it's even meant for, like something being activated, robot beeping, etc. Enjoy. :).
